SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SC. — Keurig Dr Pepper is continuing the development of its coffee roasting manufacturing facility in Spartanburg County, SC. In addition to continuing development, the company is investing $100 million and creating an estimated 250 new jobs by 2027.
The facility, which broke ground in 2019, will be focused on coffee roasting and packaging for K-Cup pods for Keurig brewers and is expected to be completed in 2027.
“Our facility in South Carolina remains an important asset in the ongoing evolution of our next-generation coffee production capabilities,” said Roger Johnson, chief supply chain officer for Keurig Dr Pepper. “Keurig Dr Pepper is proud to continue to grow in the welcoming and talent-rich community of Moore. We greatly appreciate the support we have received from the State of South Carolina in helping to facilitate our ongoing investment and hiring needs.”
