Producer Babubhai Latiwala, of Bombino video cassettes, passed away late on Friday night. The producer’s funeral will take place on Saturday at 4 pm.
A family source confirmed Babubhai’s death to indianexpress.com and shared that his mortal remains will be buried at Juhu’s graveyard.
Babubhai, under the label of Bombino video cassettes, backed films like Salman Khan and Pooja Dadwal’s Veergati (1995) and Chunky Panday, Monika Bedi and Inder Kumar’s Tirchhi Topiwale (1998). He also presented Beta Ho To Aisa (1994), starring Govinda, Varsha Usgaonkar, Gulshan Grover and Raza Murad in pivotal roles.
After his Bollywood stint, Babubhai settled in Aukland and had recently returned to Mumbai.
