Actor Sandeepa Dhar on Wednesday gave a tour of her Srinagar house, which she herself visited 30 years after her family was “forced” to evacuate it overnight. Sandeepa Dhar was born in Srinagar in a Kashmiri Pandit family. The actor took to Instagram and posted a video of her returning to her old home. She became visibly emotional as soon she stepped on the property.
“30 years back, my family was forced to run overnight from Srinagar, so we packed whatever we could in just 1 suitcase & fled.
And now, 30 years later we returned to whatever remains of our home. The empty house stands & What remains are the memories that we had made almost 3 decades ago. And this time we don’t have to run. Hopefully never ever! 🤍” she wrote in her caption.

In the video, Sandeepa was seen making her way to the house through their old garden. “After so many years, let me take you guys along with me. I’ll show you the house, it feels surreal,” she said, as she gave her fans a tour of the house.
On the work front, Sandeepa was last seen in Netflix’s acclaimed series Mai: A Mother’s Rage, headlined by Sakshi Tanwar, and in the Imtiaz Ali-created show Dr Arora: Gupt Rog Visheshagya.
