Annual chamber awards luncheon
The Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce will host its annual awards luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, at The Shores Resort & Spa, 2637 S. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach Shores.
Awards will be presented for Nonprofit of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Marvin Samuels Memorial Leadership Award and Young Professional of the Year.
A “State of the Chamber” address will be presented by the chamber chairman.
The awardees are:
•Small Business of the Year – Details Flowers Software
•Nonprofit of the Year — The Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia
•Marvin Samuels Memorial Leadership Award presented by Leadership Daytona Alumni Council – Joni Hunt, Halifax Hospital
•Young Professional of the Year presented by the Volusia Young Professionals Group – Kelis Patel, Brown & Brown Insurance
Admission is $55 for chamber members and $80 for non-members.

Starbucks opening
The Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce will conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 27, for the Starbucks at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort.
The coffee shop is along the boardwalk facing the ocean at 100 N. Atlantic Ave. in Daytona Beach.

Women2Women Seminar
The Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce will host its Women2Women Seminar from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, at 918 N. Atlantic Ave., Daytona Beach.
The featured speaker will be Dr. Maria Dowling of KMDN Global Business Partners. The topic will be “Imposter Syndrome: Embracing Leadership When You Feel Like a Fraud.”

Construction starting on apartments
Collier Cos. of Gainesville broke ground in New Smyrna Beach Oct. 23 on its newest apartment complex.
Cordova at 419 Luna Bella Lane in the Venetian Bay community will have 322 apartments and is next to the Venetian Bay Town Center.

Annual chamber meeting
The Southeast Volusia Chamber of Commerce’s annual meeting will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the Brannon Center., 105 S, Riverside Drive, New Smyrna Beach.
The meeting will include installation of 2024 board members, business awards and Crystal Apple Awards.
Chamber officials will celebrate accomplishments of the past year and discuss the vision for 2024.
At 7 p.m., the winner of a Boston Whaler 130 Super Sport will be announced. The fundraiser supports Habitat for Humanity.
Attendees are encouraged to wear formal attire with a nautical twist.
Dinner will be provided by Riverside Catering. Cash bar will be provided by SoNapa Grille. Yacht Rock tunes provided by DJ Jukebox Bully.

The Port Orange-South Daytona Chamber of Commerce will host a casino night from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at The Riverside Pavilion, 3431 S. Ridgewood Ave., Port Orange.
The evening will include gaming, magic, music, food and drinks. There will be six blackjack tables, roll the dice at the craps table, roulette table and bingo.
Tickets are $60 each or $100 per couple. Each ticket comes with chips for play and hors d’oeurves.
