Ayodhya Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha live: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ (consecration) ceremony of the Ram Mandir from 12:29:03 pm to 12:30:35 pm during the ‘Abhijit muhurata’, which will last for 84 seconds only.
He will then address a gathering of more than 8,000 people, including seers and prominent personalities. The 51-inch-tall Ram Lalla idol was placed at the sanctum sanctorum during the pre-consecration rituals. Its eyes will be opened on Monday. PM Modi will officiate the rituals, with the main ceremonies to be led by a team of priests headed by Lakshmikant Dixit.
Here’s what you should know
— 51-inch idol of Ram Lalla, sculpted by Mysuru-based artist Arun Yogiraj, was placed in the sanctum sanctorum of the Ram temple on 18 January.
— The main ceremony presided by PM Modi will be between 12:05 pm to 12:55 pm. The cloth tied on the statue of Ram Lalla will be unveiled at that time.

— Apart from political leaders across political parties and state dignitaries, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, business tycoons Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, and sporting icon Sachin Tendulkar are among India’s big names attending the ceremony.
— BJP leader LK Advani, who has been at the forefront of the Ram Mandir movement, will not be attending the Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

— Calling it a “clearly an RSS-BJP event”, the Congress “respectfully declined” the invitation. Additional, former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav, CPI (M) leader Sitaram Yechury, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar confirmed that they will not be attending the event.

Reliance Industries chairperson Mukesh Ambani, founder and chairperson of Reliance Foundation Nita Ambani arrived at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya. “It is a historic day,” said Nita Ambani. “Lord Ram is arriving today, January 22nd will be Ram Diwali for the entire country, ” said Mukesh Ambani.
Reliance Industries is commemorating the consecration of the Ram temple by declaring a holiday across its offices, organising special pujas at temples on its premises, and live-streaming the ‘Pran Pratishta’ ceremony on Jio properties.
Temple darshan, or the opportunity for devotees to seek the divine presence, is available from 7 am until 11:30 am.
Rahul Gandhi: Congress leader is in the Northeast for Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, is scheduled to visit Batadrava Than, the birthplace of 15th century social reformer Srimanta Sankardev. Gandhi has said he was being stopped from visiting the temple.
Mamata Banerjee’s ‘All-Faith Rally’
Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee will hold a parallel rally in Kolkata, calling for religious harmony. Banerjee, who received an invite for the Ayodhya event, will first visit the revered Kalighat temple to offer prayers. She will then hold the ‘all-faith rally’.
Shobha yatras, bhandaras, Sundar Kand recitals and aartis are among a long list of events planned by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi today to mark the Ayodhya event.

121 priests led by Acharya Laxmikant Dixit will lead the consecration ceremony today. Following the ceremony, guests representative from different fields including sports, entertainment industry, politics, education, armed forces as well as representatives from different countries, will be taken for ‘Darshan’ of Ram Lalla in the presence of Prime Minister.

Supreme Court has issued notice to the Tamil Nadu government and others on a plea filed against State’s oral order by which it has allegedly banned live telecast of the “Pran Prathishta” of Lord Ram at Ayodhya in the temples across Tamil Nadu. The state told the Court that there are no such restrictions and there is no ban on live telecast, performance of poojas, archanas, annadhanasm, bhajans on the occasion of “Pran Prathishta” of Lord Ram at Ayodhya today and the plea is just politically motivated.

After participating in the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla, PM Narendra Modi will interact with the workers involved in the construction of the Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived bright and early at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony. Dressed in his signature saffron robes, he greeted people with folded hands and a big smile on his face.
