In response to the overwhelming demand for Bobby Deol’s entry song, “Jamal Kudu,” in the movie Animal, T-Series on Wednesday released the full video of the track. The video amassed an impressive 3.4 million views within just five hours of its release.
Opening with Ranbir Kapoor’s character in distress, the video introduces Bobby Deol’s character, Abrar Haque. It captures Abrar’s third marriage celebration, showcasing Bobby’s energetic dance to the song as women join in singing at the wedding. “Jamal Kudu” is Harshavardhan Rameshwar’s recreation of the Iranian song “Jamaal Jamaaloo”.
The song initially gained traction on Instagram, with numerous fans incorporating it into their reels shortly after Animal premiered on December 1.
Fans flooded the comments section of Jamal Kudu’s video on YouTube. Bobby Deol announced the song’s release on Instagram and wrote, “Let the celebrations begin. Abrar’s Entry Jamal Kudu song out now 🥳❤️Dance away 💃🏼🕺🏼.”
Bobby Deol plays the mute character Abrar Haque in Animal, starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna. Despite facing criticism, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial has experienced a great run at the box office, accumulating a worldwide total of Rs 757.73 crore.
