Salman Khan lost his calm at the paps clicking his family pictures when he was escorting his parents Salim Khan, Helen, and Salma’s car after Sohail Khan’s 53rd birthday bash in Mumbai on Tuesday, Dec 19th evening. While Sohail was seen greeting his guests graciously, Salman took on the duty of guarding his parents and was also seen helping them walk towards their vehicle from the restaurant. Salim Khan, Salma, and Helen stepped out of their Bandra home after a long time. Other members of the Khan family also attended Sohail’s bash.
In Dunki vs Salaar advance box office collection Day 1 news: Prabhas’ film raced past Shah Rukh Khan’s comedy-drama by Rs 2.4 crore, as the first preference of moviegoers. It has already achieved Rs 12.67 crore with the sale of 5,77,406 tickets for 6439 shows across the country. The Telugu-speaking belt was most excited about Salaar as the Telugu version earned Rs 8.78 crore from the sale of 3,82,617 tickets. The Hindi version followed with Rs 1.74 crore. In the Malayalam-speaking states 8,72,77 tickets have been sold for 978 shows bringing in Rs 1.2 crore.
Meanwhile, Dunki’s distributors refused to share screens with Salaar as the biggest box office battles happen before the opening day, behind closed doors and over several frantic phone calls. A trade source told Indianexpress.com that the Dunki team has given out a clear-cut clause that they don’t want to share the screen with Salaar. Dunki is being distributed by Pen Marudhar while Salaar is being released by Anil Thadani’s AA Films. According to insiders, AA Films is fine with sharing shows because Salaar is a mass film and they need the pull of single screens. Raj Bansal, senior distributor, and exhibitor said both the distributors in this case are big and have a good supply chain.
Shah Rukh Khan sent bodyguards with Jawan girls after Atlee’s late-night birthday party, recalled Priyamani, in a chat with Curly Tales, adding that apart from being an extremely professional actor on set, he is also a very thoughtful and caring individual. Priyamani said that Atlee invited the entire unit of Jawan for his birthday and ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay also made it. She said the girls left at 2-3 am adding, “Shah Rukh was taking care of all of us so well that he walked us down to the car, personally saw us off. Even though we said we don’t need bodyguards, he said no they will come.”
Boman Irani, speaking to Jist Unscripted, said, “I am ready to give Rs 5 crore to a writer. But is your script worthy enough of Rs 5 crore? You have to become of that value. Sandeep Vanga and Bhushan Kumar officially announced the Animal sequel titled ‘Animal Farm.’ The climax hinted that the character Aziz will be avenging his brother Abrar’s death. With it collecting more than Rs 835.9 crore at the worldwide box office, Sandeep and producer Bhushan Kumar of T-Series have decided to turn Animal into a franchise. On Tuesday, Dec 19th, T-Series said that the duo will team up for the sequel of Animal titled Animal Farm, Prabhas’ Spirit, and Allu Arjun’s yet-untitled film. Sandeep cited the complete cooperation of producer Bhushan Kumar as a key factor in the success of Animal.
In the Animal box office collection day 19 news: Ranbir Kapoor’s blockbuster is set to overtake Gadar 2 today, Dec 20th, and will pass Rs 850 cr before it faces the Dunki-Salaar challenge. It is cooling down at the box office after a spectacular run that trampled over poor reviews, backlash, and other obstacles such as a long run time and an A rating. On its 19th day of release, the movie made Rs 5 crore in India, according to industry tracker Sacnilk, taking its total domestic collections to Rs 522 crore. Animal is now in the number three spot for Indian movies this year, behind Pathaan and Jawan.
