Animal actor Mansi Taxak, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan, opened up about the lack of consent in the post-credits scene, and distanced herself from the film’s gender politics, adding, “I don’t support toxic masculinity. Growing up in Haryana, I saw how patriarchy can affect women. Toxicity in any form isn’t something you should have in you as a person. Equality is a basic right.” She also addressed the controversial shoe-licking scene, adding that were she in that position, she would’ve walked out. Mansi played the youngest wife of Bobby Deol’s character and said as an actor, she can’t judge her character for being a pushover.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared with Galatta Plus that he was awed by Ranbir Kapoor’s performance while editing Animal, and said, he called Ranbir saying, “Dude, what have you done?
