In our top story. Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 is running out of steam in less than two weeks of release. On Wednesday, 22nd November, the film added Rs 6.3 crore to its domestic total, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. The action-thriller has now made Rs 243 crore in India. While this is a significant feat, especially for Salman, who hasn’t delivered an outright hit since 2017’s Tiger Zinda Hai, the film’s bloated budget must be considered. Tiger 3 reportedly cost Rs 300 crore to produce and will be lucky to pass the Rs 500 crore mark globally by the end of its theatrical run. The movie’s current global gross passed the Rs 400 crore mark, according to analyst Manobala Vijayabalan.
Meanwhile, actor Katrina Kaif said she is very competitive but over the years, she has learned to enjoy the “wonderful journey” she has had in Hindi cinema. Katrina, who completed 20 years in Bollywood this year, told PTI in an interview – ” I’ve been really fortunate and because I’m such a driven person, I’m constantly looking around me. But sometimes I remind myself to take that moment to appreciate what I’ve been given and that I’ve earned it as well.” The 40-year-old actor, who started as a model before making her movie debut in 2003 with Boom, has had enviable filmography with movies such as Namastey London, Welcome and Singh Is Kinng. Her latest release is Tiger 3.

Das won the award for his Netflix stand-up special Vir Das: Landing in the Best Comedy category at a ceremony in New York. The actor-comic, on Wednesday, 22nd November, told PTI in a virtual interview – “The job is to take the beautiful chosen people of the world and humanise them a little bit by making an idiot out of myself.” He was one of the three Indians to be nominated at the 51st International Emmy Awards along with Shefali Shah for Delhi Crime and Jim Sarbh for Rocket Boys. Producer Ekta Kapoor was honoured with the International Emmy Directorate Award.
Moving on. The first song from the upcoming Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Dunki, dropped on Wednesday, 22nd November. The IMDB on Wednesday, 22nd November announced its list of the most popular Indian stars of 2023, with Shah Rukh Khan taking the number one spot. SRK has had a remarkable year, with two back-to-back blockbusters that broke numerous box office records. He first starred in Pathaan, and then in Jawan, which made a combined total of Rs 2200 crore globally. His third film of the year, Dunki, is lined up for release in December. I love corrupt young minds.” Anurag also shared that the reason he has been able to last longer in the film industry than many of his contemporaries is that he isn’t chasing an ‘outcome’, but is focused on the work itself.
