Bollywood actor Kajol was recently spotted at Mukherjee’s Durga Puja pandal in Mumbai. She looked pretty as she arrived in a beautiful pink saree. However, while leaving the pandal, she escaped an accident as she tripped on the staircase and almost fell.
Kajol was engrossed in her phone while walking down from an elevated platform. She didn’t realise that there were stairs ahead. Her phone also fell from her hand as she tripped, She was held by her sister Tanishaa Mukerji and son Yug Devgan.
Fans on the internet expressed concern for Kajol and hoped that the actor was doing fine. One of the users wrote, “This can happen to anyone.” Another said, “Thank god she is not hurt.” In another video, Yug was seen helping his mother and making sure she was okay. Kajol appeared to be in pain, as evident from her facial expressions.

In different videos, Kajol was spotted wearing a yellow saree as she sought blessings at the Durga Puja pandal. Her look was topped off with a neat top bun hairstyle. She sat with several women who were involved in puja preparations near the idol of the goddess Durga. Last year, Jaya Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Ayan Mukerji and Mouni Roy among others also paid a visit to the pandal organised by the Mukherjees.
Kajol recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of her iconic film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai by dressing up as her character Anjali. Helmed by Karan Johar, the film also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji in the lead roles. Anupam Kher and Archana Puran Singh also played pivotal roles in the film.
On the work front, Kajol was last seen in the web show The Trial, which was an adaptation of Robert King and Michelle King’s The Good Wife.
