Filmmaker Vikas Bahl’s 2013 movie Queen resonated with many youngsters with its theme of finding freedom of a different kind. Kangana Ranaut, who played Rani in the film, even won the National Film Award for Best Actress. Now, Vikas has said that he wants to make a sequel to Queen and cannot imagine anyone else in it except for Kangana.
In an interview with Bollywood Life, Vikas said that he has been planning to start work on Queen 2. The filmmaker said, “Every day I wake up with a thought of making Queen 2, and hopelessly, I will definitely announce it someday.”
When asked if, like Kangana, he would introduce another new talent with the sequel, Vikas said, “I will not take credit for that; Kangana is a brilliant actress, and I cannot imagine anyone else but only her for Queen 2. I will make the film only with her and no one else.”
Kangana Ranaut took to Instagram and posted this report. Showing her eagerness to be part of the sequel, she wrote “Yessss” on her Instagram story.
Kangana will be next seen in Tejas, in which she plays the role of a fighter pilot. She recently announced that her first solo directorial Emergency has been postponed. The actor blamed her busy schedule for being unable to release the movie.
